Parents, here is an example of how your child's workspace should look like.

**Zoom meetings on Monday will be only at 8:00 AM, unless there is a holiday. Independent work will be assigned Mondays.

**Zoom meetings on Tuesday- Friday will be at 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 10:30 AM (Reading Groups), unless there is a holiday.

**All the links will be available on your Clever portal on your iPad.

**Fact: Students who are at grade level in reading by third grade are thirteen times more likely to graduate from high school.

**Primary Goals: Students will be at grade level in reading, writing and math by the end of the school year

**Epic Reading (30 minutes a day before 4 PM), AR Reading (at least 1.5 points per week with 70% average or above), complete ALL Seesaw activities, I-Ready activities (30 minutes a day), Zearn Math (1 mission per day), and Rosetta Stone (30 minutes a day only for ELD students), Teach Your Monster to Read (20 minutes a day for reading group) must be done daily for your child to be academically successful. Make sure your child is doing their assignments

**Office Hours are between 8-3 pm. Just contact me through Remind.com and I can help.

**I will send out a weekly report for Seesaw, AR Reading, I-Ready, Zearn Math, and Rosetta Stone and aslo do a daily accountability check at 8 am.

Monday’s Independent Work:

1. Finish any unfinished Seesaw activities.


2. Language Arts- Go to Epic (Epic shuts off at 3 pm) and search for a book at your AR level. Once you have chosen a book to read, check that the book is available on AR. Read the book very carefully. Do not rush! You may want to read it twice. The Epic Class Code- gvq8375

3. Language Arts- Take an AR test and get a 70% or better.

10-15 minutes


4. Math30 minutes of Math I-Ready activities.

 

5. PE- 20 minutes of GoNoodle

 

6. Language Arts- 30 minutes of I-Ready Reading activities.

 

7. Word Processing- 20 minutes Nitrotype. Create your own account. Make sure to write down your login information.

 

8. Lesley, Alexa, Jareth, Rylie, Peter, Zahid, and Cylus- 20 minutes of Teach Your Monster to Read.

 

9. Zoom Art Lesson @1:00 with Mrs. A- Go to the clever page and click on the Art Zoom link. Password: A - 30 minutes

 

10. ELD- 30 minutes of Rosetta Stone ELD on Clever for Daniel, Alexa, Jazmin, Santiago, Jareth, Alex, Lesley, Peter, Briana, Miliania, Clemente, & Julia.
